'Twenty: 20’ goes international

Apart from creating new collection records in practically every release centers, ‘Twenty: 20’ will also become the first Malayalam film to make a true international release. The movie has already started screening in many screens in UAE which has maximum number of malayalees, outside Kerala.

The movie also opened in three screens in US, the first of its kind for a Malayalam film. Even in Tamil Nadu, the original movie has opened in many screens.

The multiple release strategy of the movie will be a litmus test for the Mollywood industry to check how far their movie can succeed in other markets. The movie is poised to open in many screens in Bombay and other potential areas of the North India, next week

In the home front , this mother of all multistarrers featuring every reigning stars of the Mollywood industry has already created the best of the records in collections, bringing in a whooping 12 crores in two weeks. The movie will make a distributor share of around six crores for this total collection. According to the trade experts 'Twenty:20’ is expected to clear off the 20 crore bench mark in collections for the biggest hits, set earlier by films like ‘Rajamanikyam’ and ‘Classmates’ and will easily collect more than a twenty five crores from its ten weeks run.

In its third week ‘Twenty:20’ is still registering 80-90 percent collections in week days while weekend shows are thickly packed with hundred percent collections, all around Kerala.
